The Role of the Parent
Parents are made to feel welcome and play an important part in the school as a whole. We believe that liaison between parent and staff is vital and the school aims to provide this in various ways. Four of the school governors are parents who have been democratically elected.
New parents to the unit are shown around the whole school when their child first visits. When a child starts school the parent may stay with the child for as long as is needed for him or her to settle in the feel secure.
