Humanities
Throughout the school there is a clear humanities programme taught in topics in KS1 and as separate subjects thereafter. Wherever possible we undertake fieldwork in the local area. Recent visits have included the Roman Wall, Anglo Saxon Lindisfarne and Medieval Newcastle in history and the River Aln, the coast and Durham in geography. We firmly believe there is no substitute for “the real thing” !
