Physical Education
An all-round physical education programme is provided at Rock Hall with facilities for football, rounders, hockey, netball and cricket within the school's own grounds and indoor sports hall. We cover badminton, gymnastics and dance in the school hall.
Swimming lessons are organised from the age of 4½ with pupils being taken to the Alnwick baths every week. Children participate wherever possible in local sporting festivals. Despite being a small school, the children experience a wide variety of sports, including team games. Our emphasis is on physical fitness, good skills and a positive attitude towards other members of the team. Children transferring to secondary schools frequently represent their schools on football, netball and hockey teams.
