Trips to Newcastle

On 6 & 7 November Years 5 to 7 went to Newcastle.  We started off at the lifeboat station at the mouth of the river Tyne where we saw how a rescue takes place with the lifeboat and all the special equipment and brave lifeboat men and women.  From there we travelled by metro to the city centre for a boat trip to see all the bridges and the use of the river.

Then we went back to the youth hostel and after unpacking we went to a restaurant called Santanas.  We all loved it!
